It's all about the PINK!

Here are some of Sonya's professional photos.  I love how her photographer was creative and focused on the hot pink bouquets!

Bride Ashley's gorgeous pink Gerber wedding was a hit!  Here request was simple and elegant and that's what I delivered.  Special thanks to my cousin-in-law Angie and new designer Cristy for all the help with this one.

This was a bouquet that I made just for fun.  My bank proudly displayed it for two weeks, when I picked it up its was still pretty!  My flowers are so fresh you could display them for two weeks after a wedding.

This wedding was white and light pink mini callas. The centerpieces were elegant and contrasted with the bright tables.

Here is an wedding from last year, my sorority sister Carmen and her lovely hot pink roses!

Inn at St John's Wedding

Last Friday I had the opportunity to do a wedding and reception at a great location.  The Inn at St. John's is a stunning monastery with a beautiful chapel on location.  For the chapel the Bride picked elegant pomander balls from Special Occasion Design.  They were so cute!

The front of the chapel had two standing bowls.  I did a spray arrangement of green and white that mirrored the arrangements in the reception area.  I used white larkspur, green bells of Ireland, and white hydrangeas.

The brides flowers were soft and romantic.  Her bouquet had the hydrangea, some soft pink roses, and white ranuculus.  The girls bouquets were done in the same colors with hydrangea and little pink roses.  I wish I had a picture of the bride in her dress.  She looked stunning.  I can't wait to see the professional photos.

The centerpiece arrangements were some of my favorites I've ever done.  The tall arrangements were simple yet impressive.  They had 5ft curly willow, hydrangeas and Bells of Ireland in honor of the brides heritage.

I'm so happy I got to do this wedding for a great couple!  More wedding photos to come soon!

Start of Wedding Season!

Wedding Season is underway!   I have had several wonderful weddings in the last few weeks.  The first was a friend from college.  Her colors were royal blue and silver.  Her husband loves U of M and that was an inspiration for the wedding.  She chose to do white roses with a blue accent of iris.

The next wedding I had the pleasure of doing was for a bride name Nicole.  The girls dresses were a cobalt color and she decided to accent with purple flowers.  Her bouquet was white roses and stephanotis, half of them had pearls and half of them had rhinestones to match her dress.  The girls had purple roses and dark purple lisianthus.

Nicole also had 36 centerpeices! Half of them were on my 24" tapered vases with hydrangeas, roses, and stock all in purple!  The other half were short cubes with amazing dark purple hydrangea and white roses!

Sonya was my next bride.  Her wedding was accented with hot pink roses and damask wrap.  Sonya's wedding was a little different that my usual because she used bouquet holders.  I have to say I was very happy with the shape that the bouquet holders gave to the flowers.  They looked amazing.  I covered the bouquet holders with quilt batting then wrapped them with damask fabric.  After this wedding I will definitely be using more bouquet holders.
